INFORMATION
A UNIQUE race!
Let the moon and stars lead you on this race that start and finish at the Community Hall, Waboomskraal 19km outside George. The road will be LUMINATED.
Medals to all finishers in the 10km and 5km.
Water points every 3km; aQuelle flavoured water will be available at the finish. Bring your HEADLAMPS!

Identical Prizes awarded for all men & women:
Open men and women first prize consists of R500 Cash and R500 Sportcentre voucher.
Entries are limited to first 250 in 10km and 150 in 5km.
Ablution available at Community Hall, Waboomskraal. First aid available on route.
Goody bags for the first 150 entries received with sponsor products.
RULES
Minimum age on race day is, 15 years for the 10km, 9 years for the 5km.
Club Colours: Athletes must participate in their correct club colours and display the ASA 2011/12 license numbers on the front and back of the vest, or temporary numbers on the front and back of the vest. No advertising allowed.
Foreigners: All foreign athletes must comply with IAAF rule 142 and 4.2. Foreign athletes must be able to produce a letter from their respective federation permitting them to participate on race day.
Road: Athletes must stay on the right hand side of the road at all times, unless instructed by marshals and traffic officers.
Safety: No Earphones (IAAF Rule 144.2b), Animals (ASA Rule 21.4.1) or Racers (ASA Rule 21.4.3) allowed.
Seconding: No seconding from cyclists or private vehicles will be allowed on the route. Personal seconding will only be permitted within 1m on either side of a refreshment station.
Tags: An athlete is not eligible for a prize in more than one category, i.e. an athlete is only eligible for a prize in the age category applicable to him / her or the younger category chosen by him / her provided he / she is wearing the relevant age category ID tag.
Held under the rules of ASA and ASWD. All competitors must comply with the rules, regulations and instructions given by officials, marshals and traffic officials. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification. The race referee’s decision is final. The race organizer reserve the right to accept / reject any entry received.
